VT Planner Projects Guide

Learn how to create, search, open, describe, and organize VT Planner projects for elevator traffic studies and reusable analysis history.

A project groups the building, elevator setups, and analysis history for a study.

Project list
The Projects screen shows the project table, search, and available actions.

Create a Project

  1. Open Projects.
  2. Select Create project.
  3. Fill in Project name.
  4. Use Description to record scope, client, assumptions, or internal notes.
  5. Select Create project.

Fields

Field Purpose Recommendation
Project name Identifies the study in the project list. Use the building, client, or main alternative. Example: Corporate tower modernization.
Description Stores additional project context. Include scope, relevant assumptions, or commercial notes.

Search and Open Projects

The Project list screen lets you search by name or description. Use the Search field when you have several studies open.

To enter a project, select the project name or the Open action.

Archive Projects

The delete action archives the project from the list. Before doing this, verify that you do not need to keep the associated analysis history.
